Testimonials
“My family (2 adults & 2 teens) enjoyed this luau. We booked with Paradise Cove b/c of it’s good reviews and beach front location. Little did we know we would meet Cousin Rich & Captain Gorgeous on the bus to get to the luau. They were great hosts and made the ride enjoyable. The whole trip was very organized and flowed smoothly. Upon arrival your greeted with drinks and beautiful staff, you arrive early enough that you get to enjoy games, crafts & gift shops. You can also get some amazing pictures. The area was beautiful, the food was excellent and the show was fantastic. It was a great way to end our week in HI.”
“Great luau. The atmosphere was great. Very family friendly with some events that kids can participate in such as spear throwing, canoeing, family photos with everyone holding parrots (you can purchase later if you like the photos, no obligation before photos), watching them show how to throw out nets for fishing. The main show was great and the food too. Worth the price of admission!”
“As locals, commercial luaus are considered pretty cheesy. But, I always look forward to a good reason to go: “what?! You’ve never been to a luau? Im buying tickets for this weekend!” Paradise Cove is my favorite one. Having dinner under the stars and the open sky is magical. The entertainment is always a great. The orchid package is worth it.”
“Loved this luau! It was my first time to Hawaii and a luau. Our hostess, Jerry was a hoot. She was so funny and gave us a lot of interesting information about the This was such a fun experience! The dancers and entire staff were top notch! It was nice to explore the different events and shops prior to the luau starting. I would recommend doing the deluxe luau package as we were seated right next to the stage and had table service instead of the buffet. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire show.”
“Definitely worth my money. Indeed it is one of the best Luaus in Oahu. It was so much fun and the view was spectacular (right at the beach, overlooking the sunset). It was beautiful. The activities were simply fun: the spear throwing, Polynesian “bowling,” tattoo stations… Didn’t get to make leis, but we got a few memorable mini-shows prior to the evening spectacle. They all relate to Polynesian traditions; it was enlightening. “
“The performance with fire and hula dancers was amazing. There was a demonstration of how they cooked their pig and it was quite delicious. Just before it, there was an amazing view of the ocean and mountains. There are so many activities, from holding birds, to making flower crowns, to just enjoying the delicious food with your family.”
“We did the deluxe package and sat front stage which included table service as well as your entrance photographs, a small cooler bag, and extra money for beverages. If you have the funds to spend, especially if your a small group, I would recommend it. As for the luau itself, we absolutely loved it. The grounds we’re gorgeous and the games and events to watch really passed the time and to top it off we had a beautiful sunset to watch. The food was delicious and warm. The pork was to die for. The fried chicken wasn’t soggy and the salad was crisp. It was all-you-can- eat which came from the buffet. The show during the meal was very entertaining. We would definitely recommend to our own family. It gave us a great experience and emersion into Hawaiian culture.”
